Lady Gaga to Replace Beyonce as Coachella Headliner

The decision has been made. According to Billboard, Lady Gaga will reportedly be replacing Beyoncé as the Coachella Saturday Night Headliner.

Out with the Bey Hive, bring on the Little Monsters.

After Beyoncé’s unexpected pregnancy announcement, she confirmed that she would not be able to headline the 2017 festival, however she has already confirmed that she will be headlining in 2018. In a statement to AP on Thursday, Beyoncé’s Parkwood Entertainment and festival producer, Goldenvoice, said the pop star had to pull out under doctor’s orders.

Gaga, coming off of her first Super Bowl Half Time performance on February 5 (which reportedly had an estimated $10 million production value.), will take the Lemonade star’s place on April 15 and 22. According to Billboard, “officials with festival organizers Goldenvoice and AEG Live are finalizing plans to bring Gaga’s huge stage production to Coachella and will make the announcement in the coming days…”
